Dr Constantine Vlassopoulos after completing in 1988 his BA in Biology at New York University attended the College of Dental Medicine of Columbia University. He graduated from Columbia University in May of 1992, with departmental Honors in Periodontology (Hannah J. Appel Periodontics Award). In July 1993 he completed a General Practice Residency, with focus in Oral Surgery and Pediatric Dentistry; in Montefiore Medical Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. In July 1994 he completed a Fellowship in Advanced Education in General Dentistry with focus in Prosthetic Dentistry and Cosmetic Dentistry, at Columbia – Presbyterian Hospital of Columbia University. Dr Vlassopoulos has been practicing Dentistry in Athens Greece since September 1994 and has returned practicing in the US and specifically in Maine in November 2016. Dr Vlassopoulos, a skilled and compassionate dentist, offers complete dental care for children and adults. Dr. Vlassopoulos treats children as young as three years old and adults well in their nineties, and all his patients appreciate his gentle and empathetic demeanor— especially those who may be apprehensive about dental care.
